Oasis Skin Fair-trade Aleppo Soap

The Ultimate gentle soap for healing different skin issues, with soaps that contain laurel oil concentrations of 20% - 75%. See below for details on each type that we carry. 

Born in the fortress of Aleppo in Syria about 2,000 years ago, this soap is possibly at the origin of the first hard soaps in the world.

Each bar is handmade from freshly pressed Olives and Laurel Berries. It contains no palm oil, preservatives, colouring, synthetic fragrances or animal fat derivatives. 

It is highly beneficial for those with skin conditions such as acne, eczema, rosacea or psoriasis.

Our Aleppo soaps are hand-crafted by Madame Akila Mansour, a Syrian soap master who has acquired her skills of soap-making from the generations of family before her. Each barcontains essential fatty acids, antioxidants and vitamins. Its high laurel oil content is the very ingredient that sets this soap apart from other soaps.

The laurel oil used in the soaps are sourced from Syrian farmers, where fair trade practices are ensured. 

We have 3 types of soaps in different laurel berry oil concentrations:

Aleppo Soap with 20% Laurel (Traditional) 200g: Suitable for all skin types, including young children.

Made in Syria using traditional techniques with 6-9 months production.

Aleppo Soap with 40% Laurel (Organic recipe) 150g: Suitable for those with skin conditions like acne, eczema, psoriasis and rosacea.

Made in France with organic Olive Oil obtained from first-pressing.

Legendary Aleppo Soap with 75% Laurel (Organic recipe) 150g: This luxuriously creamy and antibacterial bar contains the highest concentration of laurel oil of the whole series, and is incredibly rare to find in the market. 

Recommended for those with skin conditions like acne, eczema, psoriasis and rosacea. Can be used as a face or body mask to soothe inflamed and itchy spots. To use, wet the bar slightly and rub it over affected spots.  

Made in France with organic Olive Oil obtained from first-pressing.

Each bar can last for 3 months with daily use on face and body. 

For a better lather, soak the soap bar in water for 1 minute and it will start to release sticky strands of soap. Rub directly onto the skin to enjoy the effects of its natural oil composition. Be careful to avoid getting the soap into your eyes as it can sting!
