If you are new to shampoo bars, do place your bars on any dish which drains or absorbs water quickly. Your bars should be allowed to air dry between use so that they last longer. If stored properly, you will void the dreaded mush!
Ideally, your bars should be placed in a location that doesn't expose it to water between washes (a drier area of the bathroom will work just fine).
Our "Stay Fearless" Diatomite bar dish is 10 cm by 10 cm and can easily fit two bars, upright.
Diatomaceous earth is a naturally occurring soft siliceous sedimentary rock. It is highly absorbent so your bars can be kept dry between washes. (This can double up as a coaster too!)
